As a medical aesthetics doctor, Dr Elendrus Teo firmly believes that looking good helps to empower a person to exude the best possible version of himself, giving one the opportunity to further his confidence and success.
Dr Teo graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and also holds a NUS Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine.
Dr Teo is highly experienced and possesses both clinical and surgical competencies. He had previous rotations in general surgery, family medicine and ENT. His interest in aesthetics piqued while spending several years of training in the facial plastics team within the ENT practice. Through the interactions and experiences with patients over the years, Dr Teo decided to venture into aesthetic medicine, helping patients to build up their confidence and self-belief by looking their best.
His niche area is facial contouring with injectables. He loves it because of the challenge and satisfaction that it gives him. “To successfully contour the face, you need more than medical knowledge. Knowing where and how much filler to inject is critical. It’s a skill that comes with experience and the eye for beauty.” Personalizing each treatment according to his patients’ needs, Dr Teo strives to help every patient achieve a new-found confidence through a detailed treatment plan.
To keep himself at the forefront of aesthetic medicine technologies and treatments, Dr Teo continually attends relevant courses and conferences. He attended several aesthetic medicine graduate workshops held at Singapore National Skin Centre and other prestigious centres. He also completed various courses on facial fillers, Pigment Lasers, Lasers for skin resurfacing, Fractional Lasers, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment, Lasers, and IPL for hair removal, Chemical Peels, and Devices for Skin Tightening and Body Contouring.
Friendly and approachable, Dr Teo is a family-oriented man who provides both confidence and assurance to his patients. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, football and other sports.
